The Diplomatic Winter Bazaar 2024 raised 275.000 KM for Children and Young People in BiH
February 18, 2025
The Organizing Committee of the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar (DWB) is thrilled to announce that the 2024 event was able to raise 275.000 BAM, which will be allocated to 27 associations supporting children and young people in need across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This achievement, surpassing last year’s total, would not have been possible without the collective contribution of our generous sponsors, of the 45 embassies and international organizations, as well as the international schools and local vendors that took part in the event held in Skenderija on 7 December 2024. In total, more than 900 volunteers worked tirelessly to create an unforgettable atmosphere for the 11.000 attendees that came to enjoy food, drinks and products from around the globe. Once again, the DWB fulfilled its mission: bringing together locals and members of the international community to raise funds for the youth in need.
The Diplomatic Winter Bazaar is a non-profit organization in BiH, driven entirely by volunteers from the international community. The 2024 Organizing Committee included David Badower (Sweden), Ilona Stoelken (Germany), Piet Bakker (Netherlands), Tatiana Messerli (Switzerland), Dorina Kolici (Albania), and Madeline Ben Atikovic (Philippines). The Organizing Committee extends its deepest
gratitude to its sponsors including The City of Sarajevo, EFT Group, Mineco, Telemach Fondacija, Adriatic Metals, wpd and Pomozi.ba.
